THE
COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN (Hart)
The Community
Campaign (Hart) is a Residents Association which is registered with the
Electoral
Commission allowing us to contest local district elections. In the
Hart District Council
elections of 10th June 2004 the Community Campaign (Hart) succeeded in
having two of our candidates, James & Jenny Radley, elected to the
District Council. A third Councillor, Simon Ambler, was elected to join
us in May 2005 and reelected in 2006. Our group size increased to five
when Gill Butler and John Bennison were elected to join us on Hart
District Council in May 2006. In 2007 Chris Axam joined the team when
he was elected to represent Fleet Courtmoor.

The
Community Campaign (Hart) (CCH) was born out of the QEB Campaign.
However with elected Councillor's
representing the CCH on Hart District Council it would be
inappropriate to pass a premature judgement on any plans which have
been
amended or new plans submitted since the election. The CCH have ceded
the role of lobbying on the QEB development to a
core of ardent QEB
campaigners.
